Our modern society presses us constantly to hurry up and do more. I love that this hymn invites us, as the title states, to “Take Time to Be Holy.” Especially for us women and mothers, the value of quiet time for our relationship with our Father in Heaven and our Savior, Jesus Christ, can not be overstated. We need Their hands in our lives precisely so that we can do the other things to which our divine natures call us as women, wives, and mothers.
